End of Year Club Dinner

**Club dinner fri 13th nov**The club dinner will be held this year on fri 13th nov at hednesford town football club so please keep that date free and show your support to all the winners, Mark Carter and Scott Westwood now selling the tickets, need to confirm numbers with the venue by oct 16th (so they know how many staff to rota on). Tickets are £12 (£6 under 16s). 7pm for 7:30pm at Hednesford Town FC. Buffett meal (hot and cold food). All welcome. Please spread the word / start letting me know whether you are coming (and obviously give me payment) as soon as possible please.

**Club standard awards**if anybody has got a standard award to collect you must get your times into don field by end of October anything received after this date will not be accepted, don't forget you need to supply the results sheet with proof of your time.

18th August 2015 K7/9 Results

Walsall RRC K7/5 5 Mile TT results 18^th August 2015

Another great turn out for this weeks 5 mile TT on the K7/5. Slight head wind out and cross wind to the finish so times this week were down a little on last Wednesday’s event. But Chris Halford ( Stourbridge Velo ) did a superb ride on the night finishing in 9:43 way ahead of his rivals. Strong rides from 15 year old Isabelle Cumming (Wolverhampton Wheelers CC ) who won the women’s event and Stuart Walker fastest rider from the host club Walsall RC.

That's it for another year for the Thursday night league, last night was a good turn out for the club having four riders taking part and all finishing in the top 20!
4th G Caley, 6th J Barzda, 13th D Whitehouse 16th J Young

After 13 race meetings G Caley Finishes 6th & J Barzda 11th overall in the league table.

Some Doubt over the league next year due to many of the board members standing down, we hope them all the best for the future and fingers crossed the league is able to continue.

Was Great to see our two road racers Greg and James taking part in Staffordshire Cycling Festival Circuit Support Race. Fantastic publicity for our club with hundreds of people watching the race. Well done guys.

Top 20 Club - Walsall Roads

SSSCCRRL Results - Greg Caley takes 4th and James Barzda finishing 7th. With these results Walsall Roads are now in the top 20 in the West Midlands with 42 British Cycling Points.
