Racing members in action.

March has seen most of the clubs racing members returning to action. 

Joe Costello, Dean Dovey, Phil Brown, Mark Shore, Rod Remedios, Phil Gambles all in action in the Wrekinsport Hilly 18. Despite it being cold and wet, there have been some really impressive performances.

Martyn Shore and Greg Caley were in the BDCA (2-Up TTT). 

Walsall Roads were also out in force in the first two Stafford RC Hilly 23TT (13th March, 20th March). Walsall RCC, putting in some strong performances. Paul Edwards and Joe Costello being the fastest WRCC rider in each race respectfully .

Walsall Roads Ian Lewis (pictured) also returned to TT action after a break from racing. Whilst away from racing, Ian has got married and become a father.

James Barzda  has also been competing in the University of Birmingham CC Weekend Stage Race.

 

Walsall RCC at Walsall FC

In February, a group of members from the club went to watch promotion chasing Walsall Football Club play against Wigan Athletic at the Banks Stadium. The day was kindly organised by Scott Westwood, which included a 3 course meal, coffee & cake at half team and drinks afterwards.
